This page contains links to static binaries for Linux. These were built on Alpine Linux and linked against the musl C library, so they should work out of the box on most i686 or x86-64 Linux machines. Edbrowse now consists of two binaries: edbrowse and edbrowse-js. The binaries for a given architecture are packaged in a gzipped tar file. It unpacks to a directory named for the architecture. So just extract the archive appropriate for your system and copy the binaries to a directory in your $PATH.

All packages are signed with my gpg key, and the key ID is 6521E06D. Here is its fingerprint:

You should be able to fetch that key from a keyserver. Also, you can download it from my site using this link: download Chris’s gpg key. I suggest verifying the binary against my key, so you can at least have some confidence that you are using a binary that did in fact come from me.
